The Systems

Air Conditioning is extremely flexible and enables even retro fit installations to be carried out with minimal disruption and inconvenience to the occupier. In most cases each indoor unit is connected to its own outdoor unit which is the condenser.

Connection between the two units is via copper pipework, which normally can be fixed in an unobtrusive manner. These are more commonly known as 'single split systems'.

The main exception is the VRV system or the Multi system where up to sixteen indoor units can be served by a single larger outdoor unit. These systems can utilise the latest heat recovery technology.
